MANHATTAN - Today, Manhattan district attorney candidate Dan Quart released the following statement on ProPublica’s report that Tali Farhadian Weinstein has paid virtually nothing in federal income taxes:
“Tali Farhadian Weinstein clearly thinks that hardworking Manhattanites are suckers. She thinks that votes can be bought, which is why she donated 8 million dollars to her own campaign. She sees no problem with being a millionaire who pays no federal income taxes while the average American pays $15,000. Ms. Weinstein is out of touch and disconnected from the voters in Manhattan.”
