Stonewall Democrats Endorse Dan Quart for Manhattan District Attorney

MANHATTAN - Today, the Stonewall Democrats of New York City endorsed Dan Quart for Manhattan District Attorney.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the support of Stonewall Democrats,” said Quart. “I’ve spent my career standing with LGBTQ+ New Yorkers on issues like Walking While Trans and decriminalizing sex work and I’ll be proud to continue doing so as Manhattan’s next District Attorney.”

Of the eight Democrats running in the primary, Quart has the most endorsements from Manhattan Democratic clubs and elected leaders, and continues to build support across the borough.

At time of announcement, Dan Quart has been endorsed for Manhattan District Attorney by: U.S. Congressmember Carolyn Maloney; activist and actor Michael K. Williams; New York State Senator José M. About Dan Quart: Dan Quart is one of NYC’s top pro bono attorneys and a New York State Assemblymember representing Manhattan’s East Side. A Washington Heights native who grew up in subsidized housing with working-class parents, Dan was raised by a public school teacher and a social worker who taught him the value of public service.
