When or what is early voting?

Early voting allows select poll sites to open in the days leading up to election day. We recommend that you vote early to avoid long lines on election day.

In-person early voting begins in less than 2 weeks, from Saturday, June 12 through Sunday, June 20. Remember that your assigned early voting poll site may be different from your assigned poll site on election day. You can find your early voting site here.

What hours during the day can I vote early?

Early voting begins Saturday, June 12 and ends Sunday, June 20. During early voting, all poll sites will be open according to the following schedule:

Where can I vote early?

You can vote early at your assigned early voting poll site (which may be different from your assigned poll site on election day). You can find your early voting site here.

Does the Manhattan D.A. race have ranked choice voting?

No. For the Manhattan District Attorney election, you will only be able to choose one candidate (so only fill in the bubble next to "Dan Quart").

For New York City elections such as Mayor, Public Advocate, Comptroller, and City Council, you’ll have the option of "ranking" up to 5 candidates in the order of your preference. Learn more about ranked choice voting here.

I requested / returned an absentee ballot. Can I still vote in person during early voting?

Yes! If you choose to vote in person after submitting your absentee ballot, only your in-person vote will count.
